Villa Stivari - Batsi

Self catering accommodation.

  Villa Stivari is a family run property.  The owners Yiannis and Sally Gionis have created a unique garden bar with accommodation in the small Stivari bay 10 minutes walk to the busy Batsi village.  The accommodation comprises of 6 self catering rooms overlooking the bay.  All rooms have air conditioning and are furnished in the Greek style.  The four first floor rooms have balconies providing superb views over the bay.  The ground floor rooms have sea facing shady patios overlooking the gardens.

Sally is of Welsh stock and Yiannis is a local man.  Their aim is to provide a tranquil oasis for guests to enjoy a thoroughly relaxing holiday complemented by the excellent food and views from the bar.

All rooms overlook the crystal clear waters of Stivari Bay

Stivari Bay provides crystal clear waters, with a small beach.  Swimming here is safe, with a gently sloping sea bed.  The rocks provide the swimmer with the opportunity to enjoy the delights of snorkelling owing to an abundance of marine life.

When the urge to relax takes precedence, the rocks provide an ideal venue to take in those rays!!

Unique garden bar and restaurant

The garden bar is unique on Andros.  If required it provides a shaded seating area to enjoy lunch from a menu that varies daily according to seasonal produce.  All the food is cooked and prepared on the premises.

Or if your choice is a leisurely meal whilst enjoying the Aegean sun, seating areas are provided, maybe for a cooling beer and Greek salad.

In the evenings a more comprehensive menu is available, with grilled fish, chicken, octopus, squid, local pork, chops, oven roast, or souvlaki plus a variety of dishes again dependency is upon seasonal produce.  Vegetarians can be catered for.  Many of the vegetables are home grown.

Sunsets from the garden bar are quite spectacular.
